ABOUT
 Welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Since I was a child, I've known that angels, spirits, other unseen beings were always with us.  I thought this was so for everyone.  I've had an interest in the magical which was further fed by the metaphysical surge in the 1980's.  I studied theology, among many other things, but didn't train until recent years, in both mediumship and reiki traditions. It is my great  joy and honor to be of service in this way tomothers seeking enlightenment.  

As a Medium, I communicate with your loved ones in Spirit to bring you life affirming messages of hope, inspiration and the reassurance that life is a continuum.  Spirit is a collective of our loved ones, guides, angels and your higher self who bring you the messages that are most beneficial and healing.  Our loved ones are always with us.

I am a certified Reiki (pronounced ray-key) practitioner. Reiki is the life energy that flows in and around us. Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation and release of tension. This energy moves from practitioner to the person, enhancing the body's ability to heal in body, mind and spirit.

Mediumship Reading with Oracle Cards

I use traditional mediumship to connect you with your loved ones in spirit. In addition Oracle cards are used to go further into specific areas of interest. Email medium.christine.popejoy@gmail.com to make an appointment or for more information. Readings done online via Zoom, FaceTime, Skype or other suitable space as well as in-person.

Group Mediumship Readings

Bring 4-5 of your friends together for a night of individual readings. I will provide a 15-20 minute reading for each person and provide a small oracle card spread to further emphasize the reading or any area of interest such as school, work, family, etc.

Reiki Relaxation and Healing

Reiki is the life energy that flows in and around us. Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation and release of tension. This energy moves from practitioner to the person, enhancing the body's ability to heal in body, mind and spirit. As a practitioner, I will work with this energy and your higher self to help bring about peace, release, and relaxation to facilitate healing. Often, people come to a reading with someone in mind that they would like to communicate with.  Ask your loved one to be present because your loved ones can hear you as the soul is eternal.  I cannot guarantee that a specific spirit will come through as spirit is intelligent and knows what we best need at any given time.  

I will ask that you give me yes, no, or I don’t know answers to the evidence presented so you know that the information is coming from spirit. I will give evidence and validations of your loved one. Spirit often has a loving message to give you that will pertain to you and your life.

We can discuss any details after our session is through.



A medium connects with deceased love ones, and relays information about their lives , the sitter's life (the person getting the reading), and any messages that the deceased loved ones may have. A psychic is someone who can "read" a person's energy and get information about the person's life, past, present and potential future.   All mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are mediums.


It is all about the energy that is universal and in every being both living and deceased.  When I connect with someone in person, my eyes are often closed as I want all the information coming from your energy and that of spirit.   Many people prefer phone or zoom readings and they are much more common today than ever.  



 You will be greeted and asked about any particular issues you would like to address. Then you will lie fully clothed on a massage table or sit in a chair. I will ask you to take a few deep, relaxing breaths before the session starts. A typical session runs between 30 and 60 minutes during which I will gently place my hands on or slightly above your body as they travel from head to toes, with emphasis on chakra placement with the intention of moving energy.
During the session, you might notice a warming sensation in certain areas. In other areas, you might not notice anything at all. Even if you come in with a particular problem area, you may experience a sense of relaxation that affects your whole body. You might even fall asleep during the session.  Every person has a different experience. Your experience from session to session can vary as well. Many people say that they feel a sense of calm and relaxation in their bodies. Others have said the experience reduced pain or a clearer mind.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so 48 hours ahead of time.  I can then make it available to another client.  If you cannot cancel within this timeframe, we will work to find a suitable future date/time that will work better for you.
